Us Too! Brampton Float at the Brampton
Santa Claus Parade
The above pictures are testimony to the hard work of all
who made this float a reality
at our first appearance at the Santa Claus parade and later at the Chingacousy Park Lights
display.
Sean O'Neill (who runs the parking at Cruisin' for a Cure), Bill
Stellings
(BramCity Transmissions), Steve Hutton (Prostate Extreme Team) and Jim
Dorsey (Cruisin' for a Cure)
were the chief architects behind the idea of a float publicizing the two
events - Cruisin' for a Cure Canada held in September
and the PET snowmobile ride in February.
Despite many hurdles and a crushing deadline they did it, mustering help
and support along the way
from many volunteers and supporters to make it happen.
Us Too! Brampton acknowledges their contributions and of
all those who participated.
Their efforts will no doubt go a long way towards raising community
awareness about
Prostate Cancer and the need for early detection.
